Paycom Software, Inc. (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of a comprehensive, cloud-based solution for human capital management, earned first-place recognition among midsized companies in the 2015 Leadership 500 Excellence Awards presented by HR.com.
Leadership Excellence identifies and recognizes the top 500 leadership organizations and their strategies and solutions. Last year, Paycom was honored for its product certification and recertification programs, ranking in the top three among midsized businesses.
“Leadership is a critical building block in the success of our business,” said Stacey Pezold, chief operating officer. “Developing strong leaders is the most important thing we do every day. Today’s leaders develop and guide tomorrow’s leaders, who are vital for creating the new, innovative ideas and concepts that propel our organization forward.”
Paycom was recognized for its leadership development program, Lead U. Its award-winning content empowers Paycom’s leaders to engage and develop their team members utilizing curriculum centered on coaching with an attitude of servitude. From first-time employees to members of Paycom’s senior leadership team, Lead U supports adult learners in both their professional and personal lives.
“We believe leadership is not something that is tied to position or title, but to your ability to influence,” said Pezold. “I firmly believe in the power of influence. If you want to lead, you should lead from wherever you are within the organization.”
On March 31, Paycom was honored as one of the top 500 leadership organizations at the 2015 Global Leadership Excellence Forum held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Dallas. Paycom’s comprehensive leadership development program will be featured in the July 2015 edition of Leadership Excellence.
“We were pleased to have a large increase in applicants this year,” stated Debbie McGrath, CEO of HR.com. “I think the Leadership 500 Awards, in combination with LEAD2015, demonstrates top organizations that not only value leadership, but also have innovative programs. This year’s list of winners reflects the importance of reinventing leadership development and the need to bring leadership to a wider audience.”
For over 30 years, Leadership Excellence has identified and recognized the top 500 leadership organizations and their development programs in its annual ranking.
