Employee Spotlight: Meet Adahra

Bonny Calfy | September 9, 2020

We interviewed one of our new client setup team leads, Adahra, to learn more about her Paycom journey.

What is your favorite thing about your team?

What I love most about my team is how they always come together in times of need when someone needs help, and the togetherness that we have.

What advice would you give a new employee for being successful at Paycom?

Always be willing to provide feedback in regards to processes. It’s important that we are always improving, and we can only grow if we provide feedback.

What’s the one word you would choose to describe Paycom, and why?

My word would be “caring.” I have never worked for a company that cares so much for their employees.

What is your greatest accomplishment at Paycom?

Creating a process for our spin group in New Client Setup.

What makes you proud to work at Paycom?

The growth and knowledge I have gained through the industry.

Where has been your favorite place to travel, and why?

Columbus, Ohio. My husband and I are huge OU fans so we traveled there when we played the Buckeyes. It was really fun getting to be in a new stadium and the tailgating was par to none.

What are some of your favorite hobbies outside of work?

Chasing my two boys around, going to the lake during the summer and attending OU games.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets, because they remind me of my childhood.
