Employee Spotlight: Meet Dana

Dana is the Philadelphia sales manager, and has been with Paycom for five years.

When asked what advice she would give a new employee for being successful she said, “Be a sponge. There is so much to learn in the first year. Paycom offers exceptional training and development in order to learn the industry, the sales cycle and, last but not least, personal development.”

Describe what you do.

I manage the Paycom Philadelphia office. I am rewarded daily with the opportunity to work among some of the best sales professionals in the tri-state area. I am currently training and developing my sales representatives, as well as spending the majority of my time out in the field with my reps. I absolutely love being out in the field with my reps, meeting new prospects and bringing on new Paycom clients. I feel very fortunate that I am able to sell a product that I truly believe in and that I have personally seen tremendously help companies. If a company values technology, company culture and efficiency, my team and I are able to provide them a solution that can help with all three areas.


What is your favorite “Paycom Perk”?

Winners’ Circle! I am such a foodie and I love getting the opportunity to celebrate the individual successes of each member of my team. It is a great opportunity to try the top restaurants in your city, and go all out. I love to celebrate. Work hard, play harder!

What is your greatest accomplishment at Paycom?

Opening the Philadelphia office and being honored with New Office Sales Manager of the Year is my greatest accomplishment so far.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be, and why?

This is an impossible question for me! I could probably switch off between one day of sushi, and one day of Spanish tapas.

What is one thing you have learned that you did not know before working at Paycom?

I never knew it would be possible to truly see the people you work with as family. I have made some of my closest connections and friends while working at Paycom.

Why is your region the best?

We have such great opportunity in the northeast. Our region is amazing at training and developing new reps. We all wholeheartedly love hiring new people and getting them fast success, seeing them rise and having the opportunity to gain promotions.

What makes you #PaycomProud?

I’m proud to work for a company where I have had the opportunity to grow so much, personally, professionally and financially. I wrote down a list of goals that I would like to achieve within five years at Paycom. I reflected on those goals when I hit my five year anniversary, and I had achieved every goal.  Very few people have this kind of opportunity and I feel so incredibly blessed that I have been able to see so many of my dreams come true while working at Paycom.

Are there any fun facts about yourself you’d like to share?

I have visited almost every country in Europe.
