Careers Are Bigger in Texas When You’re Growing With Paycom

Bonny Calfy | March 25, 2024

Ready to build a career right here, deep in the heart of Texas? Look no farther than Paycom’s Texas Operations Center in Grapevine.

Located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, our 14-acre campus brings together all the best parts of working at Paycom: unmatched career opportunities, innovative perks, unique benefits and the chance to join a purpose-driven organization doing work that truly matters.

In just two years, this North Texas campus has grown to become home to numerous Paycom team members, helping us further enhance our client-supporting capabilities.

In North Texas and beyond, Paycom has already solidified its status as a workplace that supports its employees, but we’re not finished!

Paycom may be expanding, but that doesn’t mean we’ve lost sight of the values and beliefs that earned us recognition as a top-tier workplace. Just like other Paycom employees, our team members in Grapevine enjoy the opportunity to work at an organization that’s using values to drive everything it does. Here are just a few of the ways we live those values in our Texas Operations Center.

Committed to sustainability

Paycom recognizes that environmental stewardship is important to today’s workforce. A staggering 73% of U.S. employees consider their organization’s commitment to the environment important, according to a 2023 survey.

Paycom also believes in being a good steward of our resources. That’s why we have woven sustainability into the fiber of our organization, and the most obvious expression of that effort is in the performance of our industry-leading software.

When clients use any or all of our tools, they actively reduce the need for any paper associated with HR and payroll. From pay stubs to W-2s, partnering with Paycom means less paper in every part of your processes.

But that’s not all. Here are a few other ways we incorporate environmentally friendly practices across our campuses.

  • use of 100% renewable energy credits in our Texas Operations Center
  • programs to recycle and refurbish electronic waste
  • on-site data centers designed with advanced energy-saving methods to maximize functionality with minimal environmental impact

Cultivating space for innovation

The Grapevine campus provides employees with collaborative spaces encouraging innovation, community and mental wellness. Equipped with meeting rooms, a cafeteria with catered $4 lunch options, seating and spaces encouraging connection, our Texas Operations Center is a place where creativity and innovation are inspired to flourish.

“Paycom’s spaces have offered my team unique opportunities to connect outside of the traditional meeting room,” said Keny D. (she/her), talent acquisition and DEI strategy partner at Paycom’s Texas Operations Center. “I love to see team members eating lunch together or meeting in these functional, but creative spaces. It’s a conducive environment to learn, grow and innovate.”

The campus also serves up ample green space with walking trails and an on-site gym to promote both physical and mental wellness. Well-being takes many different forms, and they’re all recognized in our plan to support our employees and empower them to pursue ambitious career and life goals.

Empowering connection and community engagement

Paycom is committed to a safe, inclusive environment for all its employees. A few of the ways we approach this commitment is with robust initiatives and training for diversity, equity and inclusion. We also encourage our staff to take opportunities to interact with their co-workers through the Better Conversations discussion series.

Employees can also connect with like-minded colleagues by joining one or more of our 11 employee resource groups (ERGs). Our ERGs are employee-led organizations offering personal and professional development, listening and learning opportunities, and ways to connect with volunteer projects in the communities where we live and work.

Did you know that charitable giving is one of the top six predictors of happiness worldwide? At Paycom, we extend our value of service to employees through opportunities for giving and volunteerism. One example is our employee giving program, where team members are encouraged to give to a wide array of significant local and national causes.

Our employees also give generously with their time. Grapevine team members recently took part in Paycom’s second annual on-site philanthropy fair, which connects team members to local organizations and volunteer opportunities. In the past year, team members have donated time and money to The Salvation Army of North Texas, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County and the National Juneteenth Museum, to name a few.

More than ever before, employees expect their workplace to align with their values. As Paycom continues to grow its presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, we are committed to investing in an office culture that cultivates meaningful work and lives.
