okcBIZ named Paycom No. 11 in the large company category in the 2012 Top 30 Best Places to Work in Oklahoma. okcBIZ announced the winners at its annual awards dinner at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel, in Oklahoma City on June 28. Paycom is one of the fastest-growing online payroll companies in the country and employs over 500, with many located at the corporate headquarters located in Oklahoma City.

The Best Places to Work in Oklahoma program honors the state’s best employers chosen through examination of leadership and planning, communications, role satisfaction, work environment and relationship with supervisor from information collected from employee surveys by the Best Companies Group.

Paycom’s headquarters supports Paycom’s 20 offices throughout the nation. Less than a year ago, Paycom moved into its new location to house its consistently increasing number of employees. The state-of-the-art, 90,000-square-foot building includes a modern-style and multi-functional cafeteria, where Paycom provides subsidized meals and a gym with daily fitness classes. Paycom organizes sports leagues and encourages employees to take part in a multitude of activities, including decorating contests and seasonal activities. Paycom recognizes the achievements of individual employees through monthly staff meetings, celebrates employee anniversaries with monthly employee luncheon and recognizes hard work throughout the year with an annual formal event.
