Your first job out of college has the potential to shape the trajectory of your whole career. My own journey led me to Paycom, which I discovered through a college class that partnered with the company. I immediately knew that Paycom would be a place that aligned with my values and supported my ambitions.

I heard firsthand from friends who were elevated to full-time roles immediately after their internships with Paycom. During my senior year of college, instead of embarking on a typical spring break trip, I flew out for my final interview with Paycom. I haven’t looked back since.

The team atmosphere is one of my favorite aspects of working in sales for Paycom. I will always remember the first time a prospective client asked me to send over the contract to finalize our partnership. The wave of excitement hit me once I was back in my car, calling my teammates one by one to share the win. They were so excited for me, and we went to celebrate the milestone.

Following my first sale, I brought in three additional deals in my first few months. Surpassing my quotas has not only been professionally satisfying but has also enabled me to make financial decisions I never imagined at the age of 23, like purchasing a new car and investing in my future. It’s an exhilarating feeling, to say the least.

Graduating from college often means dealing with student loans and embarking on a quest for financial stability. Paycom isn’t just a steppingstone; it’s a launch pad to long-term success, offering more than just immediate gains.
