Celebrating Wins: Leadership Spotlight, Casey Twenter

Celebrating wins and championing career growth and development are part of Paycom’s workplace DNA. Recently, Paycom Senior Creative and Brand Director Casey Twenter was named American Advertising Federation (AAF) Oklahoma Advertising Person of the Year for his decades long innovation in marketing and advertising.

The Advertising Person of the Year award is given to a leader who has made waves in the industry over the past year. Criteria for the award include a nominee’s extraordinary accomplishments, forward thinking and contributions to the general advancement of advertising.

Twenter has positively impacted the careers of the people he’s worked with — both creatives and on the account side — by his vision, leadership and care for his people. He has worked on national and award-winning integrated campaigns for brands like Sonic, Hallmark and Blue Bunny Ice Cream. And in all of his free time, he’s managed to write and produce movies like The Jogger and Rudderless featuring talent like Selena Gomez and William H. Macy.

Twenter joined Paycom in 2017 and has helped spearhead campaigns ranging from Unnecessary Action Hero and Wrong Tool to Paycom’s brand partnership with TikTok star Corporate Natalie. In his tenure at Paycom, Twenter has led a team of over 60 talented marketers and creative professionals.

“‘I have an insane idea …’ is how regular conversations start between Casey and I,” said Adam Ballard, Paycom’s vice president of marketing. “His creativity, leadership and perspective has helped make this department and our company better. It’s inspiring to work alongside Casey and see him continue to raise the bar.”

Considered the “unifying voice for advertising,” AAF is the only organization that includes members across all career levels and disciplines in advertising. Twenter received his award at AAF Oklahoma’s 2023 ADDY Awards. According to its website, “The American Advertising Awards Competition (ADDY Awards) is the advertising industry’s largest and most prestigious competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local American Advertising Federation (AAF) club competitions.”
