Paycom employees give $25,000 to mental wellness organizations

OKLAHOMA CITY (March 30, 2022) – Paycom Software, Inc., (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, presented a $15,000 check to Calm Waters to help fund its bereavement support programs for children and families. The software company also made a $10,000 donation to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) to provide continued mental health resources and programming.

“This gift from Paycom employees is absolutely incredible and will make a tremendous difference to hundreds of precious grieving children and families,” said Erin Engelke, Calm Waters executive director. “We feel so honored to have this invaluable support as we strive to create a home for healing for the countless Oklahomans experiencing grief each day.”

Calm Waters Center for Children and Families is a local organization dedicated to helping bereaved children and families in their grief journey after a death, divorce or other significant loss. The contribution will help provide free grief and divorce support groups at Calm Waters and in hundreds of schools in central Oklahoma, serving children and adults who are experiencing grief due to death, divorce or other traumatic losses.

“Mental health is paramount to overall wellness,” Tiffany McGowen, Paycom vice president of recruiting, said. “Our employees are glad to help provide access to mental health resources, counseling, seminars and support group services locally and nationally.”

NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. This donation will expand NAMI’s ability to offer education and support programs to people affected by mental health conditions.

“NAMI is grateful to partners like Paycom for helping our mission of supporting people with mental health conditions and their families,” said Jessica Edwards, NAMI national director of strategic alliances and development.

The donations come as part of Paycom’s ongoing giving campaign, an opportunity for employees to donate to a variety of local and national causes. Additional ways employees may give back include volunteer events and service initiatives that strengthen families and communities.
