Putting Employees First: Paycom Named to the 2024 Top Workplaces USA List

Abraham Mendieta | March 18, 2024

Paycom was recognized on the 2024 Top Workplaces USA list of organizations with over 2,500 employees for the fourth consecutive year.

The annual rankings are based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey that uniquely measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures critical to the success of any business, including:

  • alignment
  • execution
  • connection

The accolade comes on the heels of Paycom’s place on Oklahoma’s and Texas’ Top Workplace lists. Here’s how our employee-first culture empowers our people to lead the HR tech industry.

Full-spectrum support

Awards are great, but what stands out for team members is the ability to scale a dynamic culture nationwide.

“Paycom offers a unique opportunity to be a part of something new that’s never been seen before, from company culture to industry-leading innovations,” said Dexter A. (he/him), a transition project manager at Paycom’s Sacramento office. “Each day presents new challenges and potential to learn and grow both personally and professionally.”

One way Paycom connects employees across the country is through our employee resource groups (ERGs). ERGs assist in fostering an open, inviting workplace and provide consistent opportunities for team members to:

  • engage with peers
  • connect through co-workers’ stories
  • foster inclusion and community
  • learn from other employees

ERGs are available to all team members, whether they work at Paycom’s Oklahoma City headquarters or one of the national sales or operations facilities.

A purposeful culture

Paycom provides an environment where every employee can truly thrive. Behind this dedication are our five core values:

  • We innovate.
  • We win.
  • We care.
  • We serve.
  • We believe.

From our leadership to the newest hires, these values align all of Paycom to focus on our purpose: to simplify work for employees everywhere.

“As we continue to redefine what HR tech looks like, we know what makes Paycom special: our people, our purpose and our commitment to excellence,” said Jennifer Kraszewski (she/her), Paycom’s senior executive vice president of HR. “Recognition like this shows we’re going about it the right way for all team members.”

Kelly F. (she/her), a talent acquisition coordinator, added, “Best place ever! I love to work at Paycom because of the positive work culture. Our leaders listen to our ideas and concerns while supporting us in our roles. There are opportunities for growth and meaningful encouragement to improve and advance since Day 1.”

While employees have many reasons why they love working at Paycom, it’s their contributions that make us a top workplace year after year.
