Who We Are: Our 5 Core Values

In the years that I’ve been a part of Paycom, I’ve seen us constantly innovate and adapt to ensure we’re always delivering our purpose — to create technology that simplifies life for employees. But no enterprise makes good on such a statement, or any promise for that matter, without supporting it with a foundation of core values.

We are no exception.

These are the five core values we practice to uphold our mission and remain a leader within our ever-changing industry.

We innovate

We transform the way people do business, which means we must do more than deliver effective, comprehensive HR software. We also have to commit to challenging ourselves daily and exceeding the status quo.

It would be impossible for us to meet the needs of companies everywhere if we didn’t always seek opportunities for individual and collective growth. We are dedicated to providing a renewable learning environment within our workplace, which builds the workforce of experts that enables us to deliver new and intuitive technology.

In order to win, we hold each other accountable while creating new definitions of success. At the same time, we celebrate and recognize excellence in all of its forms and are always open to what accomplishments mean to us.

We are committed to looking after each other. From our on-site well-being advisers to our community outreach events, we are champions of wellness for everyone. Caring is more than just a box to check, but a series of expectations we must always be ready to exceed.

We serve

Our business is about more than just selling comprehensive HR software; we offer a way to enhance how our clients conduct business by helping make their daily operations easier and their employees’ data seamless and secure. Additionally, we are constantly working to serve our immediate and global communities.

We approach our purpose with heart and commit to making things better than they were before. And we do so with humility, grace and grit.

We believe

There would be no Paycom without our people and the technology we create. We believe in our ability to do great things and overcome any obstacle. This value was proven in our ability to adapt to the challenges of 2020 without compromising the quality of our product and service.

And through this belief, we build a culture of trust that waters the roots of everything we do. This allows us to continue to accomplish big things, including what some may find impossible.
